Random Generators

Random Number Generator

Choose an inclusive integer range and generate up to 1,000 numbers at once. Keep a batch distinct when drawing tickets, or allow repeats when modeling independent trials. Every new batch uses a fresh pool.

Your generated numbers will appear here.

Inputs and generated results are processed in your browser. These tools do not upload them or persist them in local storage. Copying or downloading creates a record you control.

How to use the Random Number Generator

  1. 01

Enter a minimum and maximum from −1,000,000,000 through 1,000,000,000. Both endpoints are eligible.

  2. 02

Choose the batch size and decide whether duplicates are allowed within that batch.

  3. 03

Generate, optionally sort, and copy or download the result. Reset clears results and recent history.

Examples

Draw ten ticket numbers

For tickets numbered 1 through 250, set the range to 1–250, request 10 numbers, and leave the no-duplicates option enabled. Every ticket can appear at most once in this batch.

Model repeatable outcomes

For ten independent die-like results, use 1–6, request 10, and disable uniqueness. A repeated value is an expected possibility, not a failure.

Why inclusive endpoints matter

The range 10–20 contains 11 integers, including both 10 and 20. A range with equal endpoints contains one integer. A unique batch cannot contain more numbers than the range holds; the tool reports this before drawing.

How randomness avoids modulo bias

The browser supplies unsigned 32-bit values through Web Crypto. Values outside the largest complete multiple of the pool size are rejected before a remainder is taken. This prevents smaller integers from receiving extra probability. Distinct batches use a partial shuffle over the eligible positions rather than repeatedly retrying duplicates.

Sorting changes presentation

Sorting does not change which numbers were selected. Without sorting, the output keeps draw order. Recent history records at most ten batches in this open page; resetting removes that history. Export contains the current batch, one integer per line.

Common questions

Can negative numbers be generated?

Yes. Both endpoints may be negative, positive, or zero, provided they are whole numbers within the stated bounds.

Does no duplicates apply across batches?

No. Each generation begins with the full range. A number from an earlier batch can reappear in a new batch.

Can I reproduce a result with a seed?

The public tool uses fresh browser crypto values and does not accept a seed. Save or copy a result if you need to retain it.

Is this a certified prize drawing system?

No. It is a browser utility without identity checks, an independent audit trail, or a certification process.
