Playing Card Shuffler

Start a shuffled 52-card deck and draw one or more cards at a time. The remaining deck stays in order until you start a new one, so a card cannot appear twice in the same deck. Add a distinct red and black joker for a 54-card deck.

How to use the Playing Card Shuffler

  1. 01

Choose whether to include two jokers. Changing this option clears the current deck.

  2. 02

Enter a hand size and draw. The first draw automatically shuffles a fresh deck.

  3. 03

Continue drawing from the remaining cards, or start a new shuffled deck. Copy or download all cards drawn in order.

Examples

Deal a five-card hand

Leave jokers off and draw five cards. The remaining deck contains 47 cards. A second five-card draw comes from those 47 cards.

Draw the full deck

Request 52 cards without jokers to inspect a whole shuffled deck. Every rank–suit pair appears exactly once. No cards remain until you start a new deck.

The deck model

The standard deck contains ace through king in spades, hearts, diamonds, and clubs: 13 ranks in each of four suits. Aces are labels rather than assigned numerical values. Optional jokers are additional distinct cards, not wild-card rules.

A shuffle followed by removal

A Fisher–Yates shuffle swaps each card with an unbiased choice from the available positions. Drawing then removes cards from the front of that single shuffled order. Asking for more cards than remain produces an error without consuming the remaining deck.

Reading and retaining a hand

The latest hand is shown as cards, and recent hands are listed newest first. Export lists every drawn card in original draw order, including earlier hands from the same deck. Starting a new deck clears those records. The tool does not evaluate poker hands or enforce a game-specific deal.

Common questions

Can the same card appear in two hands?

Not from the same deck. Starting a new deck makes all cards available again.

What happens when I enable jokers mid-game?

The current deck and drawn cards are cleared, so the next draw uses a complete 54-card deck.

Does a new shuffle keep cards already drawn?

No. New shuffled deck replaces the entire deck and clears draw history.

Can I deal to named players?

Draw consecutive hands yourself. This tool displays one latest hand and does not maintain separate player seats.
