Source images

Up to 12 images, 20 MB per file, 24 megapixels per image; 60 MB and 48 megapixels per batch. SVG is not accepted. GIF and animated formats export as still images.

Design your watermark

Review the exported preview for each photo. Watermarks can be edited or removed by others and do not prevent copying.

Maximum output: 32 megapixels per image, 64 megapixels / 64 MB per batch. Newly encoded downloads may lose metadata and color profiles.

Selected files are processed in your browser. This tool does not upload image bytes or fetch remote image URLs. Clear the tool to release its local image previews.

Examples

A subtle photo credit

Use text such as © Alex Rivera, choose bottom-right placement, and start at 5% font size and 65% opacity. A dark shadow can help light text remain legible.

A transparent logo

Choose a PNG logo with transparency, select image watermark mode, and set logo width to 20% of the photo width. Its aspect ratio is preserved.

Size follows each photo

Text size is a percentage of photo width; logo size is the percentage occupied by its width. Using relative sizes makes batch watermarks scale with each photo. Long text or tall logos can exceed the photo; reduce the size when validation asks.

Placement and contrast

Edge margin is a percentage of the shorter photo edge. The tool reduces margins when necessary to keep the watermark inside the image. Center placement ignores the edge margin. Text uses a browser sans-serif font, a chosen color, and an optional dark shadow.

Visible credit has limits

A watermark labels a copy but does not establish ownership, prevent screenshots, or stop editing. Keep original files and use only text or logos you have permission to reproduce. Check that the mark does not hide details that matter to viewers.

What to know

  • Logo images: 20 MB and 8 megapixels maximum.
  • Text is limited to 120 characters; browser font rendering may vary.
  • Image editing accepts raster files up to 20 MB and 24 megapixels each, with 60 MB and 48 megapixels total source limits.
  • Canvas output is limited to 16,384 pixels per edge and 32 megapixels per image; browser memory limits can be lower.
  • Newly encoded exports are still images. Metadata and color-profile retention are not guaranteed.

Common questions

Can I use my own logo?

Yes. Choose image watermark mode and upload a supported raster logo. Transparent PNG or WebP works well; SVG is not accepted.

Can I watermark several photos?

Yes. The same design settings are applied to every selected image within the source and output limits.

Can I tile a watermark across the whole image?

This tool places one watermark at a selected corner or the center. It does not create repeating tiled patterns.

Does this prevent copying?

No. Visible watermarks can be cropped, covered, or edited. They provide attribution on the exported copy rather than copy protection.
