A 24-pixel icon at double resolution
For an SVG with a 24 × 24 viewBox, set the output to 48 × 48. Curves are rasterized at that output size rather than enlarging a tiny bitmap.
Turn a simple vector illustration or icon into a PNG for an app, slide, or document. Upload SVG or paste markup, choose a pixel size, and review the converted image before downloading.
Scripts, external images, embedded HTML, animation, CSS styles, filters, and use references are removed. Simple shapes, paths, gradients, and text are supported. Nothing is uploaded.
Up to 16,384 pixels per side and 32 megapixels total. If the canvas proportions differ, SVG’s preserveAspectRatio setting controls fitting (usually centered with empty edges).
Uploaded files stay in the browser. The landscape example is an original SVG created for this tool.
Choose an SVG file up to 2 MB or paste its XML markup. Use Read SVG dimensions after editing markup.
Enter the PNG width or height. Keep aspect ratio on to update the other dimension automatically.
Keep a transparent background or choose a solid color.
Select Convert to PNG, review the preview and removal count, then download.
For an SVG with a 24 × 24 viewBox, set the output to 48 × 48. Curves are rasterized at that output size rather than enlarging a tiny bitmap.
Select a solid white background if the destination needs an opaque PNG. Use transparency when the logo must sit on different page colors.
The built-in landscape example uses paths, shapes, and an internal gradient. It shows the supported workflow without uploading a file.
This converter keeps basic shapes, paths, groups, text, gradients, clipping paths, and masks. It removes scripts, embedded HTML, external resources, CSS style attributes and stylesheets, animation, filters, and use references. SVGs that depend on those features can look different or appear blank. Convert text to paths in your editor when exact lettering matters.
The viewBox defines the drawing’s coordinate system; PNG dimensions define its raster resolution. Width and height can be read from common absolute SVG units at 96 pixels per inch, with a valid viewBox used for missing dimensions. If neither supplies a usable size, the initial fallback is 300 × 150. Different output proportions follow the SVG preserveAspectRatio setting, usually leaving empty edges.
The tool parses XML into an inert document, removes unsupported elements and attributes with an explicit allowlist, and renders the sanitized result through an isolated image source. Raw uploaded SVG is never inserted into the page. Review the PNG preview whenever content was removed.
Yes, if you select the transparent background option. The checkerboard in the preview represents transparency and is not part of the downloaded PNG.
External images and fonts, stylesheets, inline CSS styles, filters, and use references are removed. For a supported export, flatten those features into basic paths and presentation attributes in your vector editor.
No. Parsing, sanitization, rendering, and PNG export happen in the browser. External references in uploaded SVG are not loaded by the converter.
The maximum is 16,384 pixels per side and 32 million pixels in total. SVG input is limited to 2 MB and 10,000 elements. Very complex paths may still be slow on some devices.
